After signing an LOI to be acquired; Xobni‘s negotiation with Microsoft had fell through. The Xobni – Microsoft deal price tag was estimated to be somewhere in the $20-million range after raising less than $5 million.
Xobni felt uncomfortable becoming another Microsoft Outlook feature. They have bigger plans and are now working on integrating to Yahoo Mail.
Xobni is a sidebar plug-in for Outlook that making it easier to use while showing you your contacts and their connections to you and each other. Xobni offers a new way to organize and search Outlook emails. Xobni will create profiles for every contact and person that sends you an email. Xobni’s profiles will contain statistics, contact information, social connections and shared attachments.
